Your support flows into three areas: innovation, programming, and our reserve. Your contribution will support one or more of these streams, used wherever it makes the most difference.
Innovation. It's natural to want to fund programs directly but great programs don't run on good intentions alone. They need tools, materials, people, and ongoing development to keep improving. Support here doesn't pay anyone directly; it goes toward the constant organizational growth that lets us keep building the world we describe in our mission.
Programming. We're always iterating. Traditional funders aren't always interested in elevated programming experiences for youth but we are. Your support goes straight toward giving young people the best possible experience, free of charge, every time.
Reserve. The landscape is always shifting: funders pull back, and the world keeps getting more expensive. When funds aren't needed for innovation or programming, we set them aside, building resilience for a future where interest in social impact can't be taken for granted.
From time to time, we'll also run specific campaigns for donors who'd like to give to something particular — for example, "this month we're raising $5,000 to send five youth to Vancouver" — and direct what comes in straight to that goal.
Once a year, we publish progress reports, and we love using them to celebrate the kindness that makes our work possible, which normally means sharing your first and last name, and giving level. But how you're recognized is always your call. Just check the box below to let us know your preference, whether that's staying anonymous or something custom.
Yes, absolutely. When you give, just use the note field to tell us which of our current programs you'd like your donation to support. Otherwise, we'll use your gift where it's needed most.
Not at this time. The Kickback Foundation is a registered Canadian non-profit organization [NFP number: 748018934RC0001 so you can look us up] and is therefore unable to issue charitable tax receipts. However, we can provide a donation acknowledgment letter upon request.
Our projected timeline is to be able to issue tax receipts in 2026, so please stay in touch or reach out via info@kickback.org to start the conversation now. In the meantime, we hold ourselves to the same standards as a charity: we audit proactively every year and offer transparency wherever appropriate.
